A.W. Beattie Career Center provides schools and community events with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math)/Career Exploration. Sessions are led by our industry trained instructors and career program students with hands-on experience using real world equipment from the programs. Equipment could include a virtual welder, virtual painter, Z Space Computer, NAO humanoid robots, an FRC robot, thermal imagining camera, AED Trainers, etc. Programs can be developed to fit the needs of the school/event. Sessions can range from 20-45 minutes with approximately 15 students per session. A complete list of 2016-17 events is listed below.
